The Late Goodbye!

Draft from 20th May 2013

I ran for 1.6 km in 15 min

The rising sun,

Greeted them both.

The dew drop knew it was time

To say the parting words.

The leaf feigned strength

It’s limp mind embracing the limp soul.

Careful not to shudder,

Mindful of the every passing second.

But time had always fleeted by,

In the warm embrace.

A careless whisper,

And an aiding wind.

Rekindled the dew drop’s sparkle,

Displaying glamorous ardour

For one last time.

Ce’ la vie, it cried.
